We collect, analyze, and structure data to support organizations and governments in measuring and mitigating emissions. We develop methodologies, inventories, and climate strategies that transform sector-wide information into decisions aligned with global decarbonization targets

Combating Climate Change
Confronting climate change requires more than commitments; it requires technical strategy, institutional coordination, and evidence-based decision-making.
Mitsidi develops studies, modeling, mitigation strategies, and structured decarbonization plans that connect climate goals to public policies, production chains, and business models. We work with governments, international organizations, and the private sector, integrating technical rigor, economic feasibility, and territorial impact.
With experience in national and international projects, we structure solutions that transform climate challenges into opportunities for sustainable development, innovation, and competitive strengthening.
Our solutions cover Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission inventories for Scopes 1, 2, and 3, decarbonization plans aligned with the Paris Agreement and NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions), reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of products and processes, decarbonization strategies for agribusiness, and net-zero programs for municipalities and companies. We also operate in the development of methodologies for carbon markets, emission removal projects, and technical support for mechanisms such as REDD+ and payments for environmental services.
The agricultural sector is strategic for the global climate agenda and the economic security of several regions.
We develop studies and strategies focused on adopting sustainable and innovative agricultural practices, including soil carbon management, input efficiency, integrated crop-livestock-forestry systems (ICLF), bioenergy, and carbon market mechanisms.
Our projects combine technical rigor and economic viability, strengthening the sector's competitiveness, access to new markets, and the resilience of rural communities facing climate challenges.
Decarbonization requires structured planning, clear targets, and investment prioritization.
We develop strategic emission reduction plans for municipalities, companies, buildings, and industries, integrating GHG inventories, scenario analysis, economic feasibility assessments, and implementation roadmaps.
The result is a technically and financially sound trajectory, aligned with climate goals and the sustainable development strategy of each organization or territory.
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) allows for understanding environmental impacts throughout the entire value chain—from raw material extraction to disposal.
We apply internationally recognized methodologies to assess the environmental impacts of products, processes, buildings, and services, identifying mitigation and performance improvement opportunities.
LCA supports strategic decisions, differentiates products in the market, and strengthens ESG positioning with a robust technical foundation.
Climate transformation accelerates when knowledge and practice evolve collaboratively.
We implement Learning Networks with structured methodologies for experience exchange, data sharing, goal setting, and continuous technical monitoring in decarbonization processes.
We offer methodological support and specialized technical assistance, promoting collective gains in capacity, efficiency, and measurable climate impact.

A decarbonization plan is a technical roadmap that defines goals, actions, and investments to progressively reduce GHG emissions, in line with the Paris Agreement and Brazil's NDCs. Mitsidi structures the entire process: Scope 1, 2, and 3 inventories, scenario modeling, prioritization of measures, and integration with net-zero and SBTi targets.
NDCs (Nationally Determined Contributions) are each country's climate commitments under the Paris Agreement. Brazil has committed to reducing emissions by 67% by 2035. For companies and municipalities, there is growing pressure from regulators and financiers to align with these goals. Mitsidi supports organizations in structuring plans compatible with NDCs.
LCA quantifies the environmental impacts of a product or service throughout its entire value chain—from raw material extraction to final disposal. It is the most robust methodology for supporting environmental claims, decarbonization strategies, and eligibility for green financing. Mitsidi conducts LCAs in accordance with ISO 14040 and 14044.
Agribusiness is both a major emitter and a sector with high potential for carbon removal through ICLF (Integrated Crop-Livestock-Forestry), no-till farming, and pasture recovery. Mitsidi develops inventories, decarbonization plans, and strategies to access agricultural carbon markets.
The SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) validates whether emission reduction targets are compatible with limiting global warming to 1.5°C. Having targets validated by the SBTi is increasingly required by investors. Mitsidi supports the entire submission and compliance process.
