EXPANDIR is an event created by Mitsidi as part of a program dedicated to the dissemination and exchange of knowledge on energy and climate change, embodying the idea of expanding knowledge in its very purpose. Held online and currently taking place biennially, the event exclusively features experts from the Mitsidi team, who share current topics, experiences, methodologies, and solutions related to the company's different fields of operation. More than a series of presentations, EXPANDIR is an opportunity to open internally developed knowledge to the market and connect professionals and organizations with the discussions that are transforming the energy, decarbonization, and sustainability sectors.
The 1st edition of EXPANDIR, in 2020, began as an experimental initiative. The team was starting to explore recording formats and content production, but already with a very clear objective: to share relevant technical knowledge. It was the largest edition ever held in terms of content volume, featuring 20 videos covering energy efficiency, building performance, energy management, programs, and standards, among other topics.
In 2022, the 2nd edition broadened the event's perspective to encompass wider industry challenges, incorporating discussions on energy transition, climate change, the carbon market, and risk management. This edition also reflected the evolution and diversification of Mitsidi's areas of expertise.
In 2024, the 3rd edition consolidated the current format of EXPANDIR. Under the theme “Conversations that Shape the Future of Sustainability and Energy Efficiency”, the event reinforced its multidisciplinary character, connecting different perspectives on industry, buildings, energy, and sustainability.
In 2026, EXPANDIR reaches its 4th edition, continuing this trajectory of knowledge sharing. Across four sessions, Mitsidi experts will discuss how energy efficiency, decarbonization, and artificial intelligence can help accelerate transformations in the energy sector and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
