BitCarbon is a platform co-developed by Mitsidi and FloripaBit to structure climate governance for organizations and their supply chains. The solution integrates international emission accounting methodologies, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology, enabling optimized inventories, climate performance ranking, and auditable records of emission reductions.

The platform operates based on three main pillars. The first is the optimized carbon inventory, which uses artificial intelligence to adapt data collection to the maturity, size, and sector of each organization, reducing operational barriers without compromising technical adherence to the PBGHG Protocol.

The second pillar is the structured quantification of avoided emissions from decarbonization actions, based on internationally recognized methodologies. These reductions can be converted into digital tokens registered on the blockchain through smart contracts, ensuring traceability, transparency, and integrity.

The third pillar is the connection environment between organizations and sustainable solutions, allowing for the integration with technological partners, automated measurement of results, and the creation of economic incentives for the adoption of low-carbon practices.

BitCarbon is not limited to emission measurement. It establishes an infrastructure capable of supporting corporate sustainability policies, ranking suppliers by climate performance, and structuring incentive mechanisms aligned with the reduction of Scope 3 emissions.
