Programa Brasileiro GHG Protocol

The Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, started in 2008, was developed by FGVces in partnership with WRI, the Ministry of the Environment, CEBDS, WBCSD, and founding companies, with the aim of promoting a corporate culture of measuring and managing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in Brazil.

The program provides a methodology aligned with international GHG Protocol standards—the global reference for accounting and disclosing emission inventories—contributing to climate transparency and strengthening the corporate agenda for tackling climate change.

Mitsidi and the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program
In 2024 and 2025, Mitsidi was recognized with the Silver Seal of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, granted to organizations that complete a full emissions inventory covering Scopes 1, 2, and a relevant portion of Scope 3, with publication and verification according to the program's criteria.

This recognition reinforces the consistency between Mitsidi’s technical expertise in inventories and decarbonization and its own institutional practice. By continuously measuring, reporting, and improving its emissions based on international standards, Mitsidi demonstrates leadership, transparency, and a real commitment to the climate agenda.
